An idea born in the field.
Focus & Move grew out of a simple observation: sports shooting sparks curiosity and engagement, but remains difficult to integrate into many environments.
Developed by a team with a Decathlon background, the project began with a very practical challenge: how could we retain the demands of accuracy, control and concentration found in shooting while making it easier to use?
Laser technology made this shift possible: removing projectiles, simplifying setup and opening the activity to new audiences and new uses.
The product evolves alongside its users and the real-life situations encountered in sport, education, leisure and support programmes.
Two sources of inspiration.

Biathlon and modern pentathlon inspired the development of Focus & Move, but for two very different reasons.
BIATHLON
Effort followed by control.
Biathlon creates a particularly compelling sporting sequence: intense physical effort followed, just seconds later, by the need to regain enough control to shoot accurately.
The use of projectiles creates safety, supervision and infrastructure requirements that restrict its use in many settings.
MODERN PENTATHLON
The richness of a multidisciplinary sport.
Modern pentathlon combines several abilities: endurance, coordination, adaptability, concentration and accuracy. It offers a particularly complete approach to sport.
Multiple disciplines require different skills, equipment and training environments, making the full experience difficult to deploy widely.
Preserve what makes these experiences so valuable. Remove the barriers that limit their accessibility.
Laser shooting becomes a tool that can be integrated into different activities. Shooting no longer dictates the discipline: it enhances movement.
