FOCUS & MOVE × CROSSFIT BOXES

Train the effort.
Test your control.

Add laser shooting to your WODs, hybrid training and competitions. One simple constraint: after the effort, you still need to breathe, focus and shoot accurately.

FITNESS IS EVOLVING. SO ARE YOUR FORMATS.

Add a challenge your members cannot overcome simply by moving faster.

Hybrid formats and fitness racing — such as HYROX, ATHX and functional fitness competitions — build on a familiar box approach: combining running, ergometers, strength work and exercises under fatigue. Focus & Move adds a different variable. Once out of breath, athletes must regain enough control to complete a precision task.

IN PRACTICE, DURING A WOD

The effort does not stop when it is time to aim.

After a run, rowing, burpees or a strength station, going faster is no longer enough. Athletes must settle themselves, control their breathing, steady their movement and execute.

The result then becomes part of your workout rules: time, repetitions, distance, points, a penalty lap, qualification or a head-to-head.

PROGRAMMED, NOT IMPROVISED

Workouts designed with coaches for real use in a box.

We work with coaches to turn laser shooting into a genuine programming tool. The goal is not to add a gadget at the end of a WOD, but to create situations where effort affects accuracy and accuracy determines what comes next.

EXAMPLE 01

Endurance + accuracy

RUN → ERG → SHOOT

Train the ability to regain control after cardio effort and use the score to validate the round or trigger a penalty.

EXAMPLE 02

Muscular fatigue + control

BURPEES → LUNGES → SHOOT

Place the precision task after a demanding sequence to break the rhythm and introduce a new execution challenge.

EXAMPLE 03

Team challenge

RELAY → STATIONS → SHOOT

One teammate’s result can release the next athlete, trigger a penalty or directly change the rankings.

Examples of CrossFit workout programming with laser shooting

DESIGNED IN THE FIELD

Content developed with Yohann from KastaCrossfit.

Workout examples, progressions, exercises and formats were developed with Yohann Gigord, coach at KastaCrossfit Castanet, to make them easy to integrate coherently into a box’s programming.

This section is designed to gradually showcase your real content: schedules, workout sheets and demonstration videos. They will provide tangible proof of how the product is used, rather than just a sales promise.

COMPETITIONS & EVENTS

A station that can turn the race around.

Athletes arrive under fatigue. They must hit their shots before moving on. Every miss can cost time, repetitions or a penalty lap. For the athlete, the pressure is immediate. For spectators, the rule is clear.

WHY IT WORKS IN A BOX

A new coaching variable without reinventing your method.

Effort + control

Performance no longer depends on speed alone: athletes must remain able to execute under fatigue.

Hits, times, penalties and points instantly create a score or consequence.

Team challenge

Individual, head-to-head, relay or team formats: the same equipment supports constantly changing mechanics.

A distinctive experience

An unusual format for your members and a genuine highlight at your events.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Laser shooting, CrossFit and competitions

How can laser shooting be integrated into a CrossFit WOD?

Shooting can be placed between two stations, after a cardio or strength sequence, at the end of a round or as a dedicated station. The score can then validate the round or trigger a consequence: time, repetitions, distance, points or a penalty.

Is it suitable for hybrid training and fitness racing preparation?

Laser shooting does not replicate a HYROX or ATHX event. However, it introduces a valuable additional constraint into hybrid training: moving from physical effort to a task requiring control, breathing, concentration and accuracy.

Does the box’s entire programme need to be changed?

No. The purpose is precisely to keep your exercises and coaching approach. You simply add a precision station and define the rule associated with the result.

Can the equipment be used at a competition?

Yes. Laser shooting can become a course station, a side challenge, a surprise event or an activity. The format can be adapted to the event rules and the number of participants.

Can the equipment be rented for just one weekend?

Yes. Focus & Move offers rental solutions for one-off uses, as well as long-term rental and purchase options for boxes wishing to integrate shooting regularly.

Do you provide sample workouts for coaches?

Yes. Formats and programming examples have been developed with coaches to make it easier to get started and integrate shooting into different types of sessions.
